charles.jpgThe great thing about helping clients unlock new opportunities for creating value is that it demands a real combination of left and right brain thinking. How much more interesting could it get? I work across many business sectors because wherever there are customers, there are customer-driven opportunities for strategic innovation. My experience of this has been built up over 15 years at New Solutions, prior to which I worked for P&G and in advertising, consultancy, and radio.

judith.jpgMy buzz comes from putting the customer at the heart of the creative process of strategic innovation, meaning that ‘research’ becomes more provocative, more challenging, and simply more interesting. The challenge is to always find new and more effective ways to co-create with consumers and customers – overtly and covertly.  After almost 20 years of doing this across many businesses, I strongly believe that ‘research’ is a means rather than an end. I am outrageously (some have said) enthusiastic about what we can achieve here for our clients.

Ultimately, strategic innovation has to deliver measurable value to our clients through the value it delivers to consumers or customers. As a chartered accountant, I'm not afraid of the figures, but experience has taught me not to rely too heavily on the numbers alone -  I value the metrics, but appreciate the combination of rigour and creativity. I take a particular interest in our service sector clients but have an equal passion for difficult issues wherever they arise and where the breadth of the New Solutions team really makes a difference. Outside the office, Cornwall is a great escape - sometimes too far away, sometimes not far enough!
